Relevant sections of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991
The Anti-Discrimination Act 1991 (Queensland) - promotes equality of opportunity. Sections 39, 105 and 111 are particularly useful in interpreting the Act in relation to Sport.
The Queensland Disability Services Act (1992) and the Workplace Health and Safety Act (1995), as well as the Commission for Children and Young People Act 2000, are also relevant to the provision of junior sport. Go to the Queensland Government website to view these Acts in full.
