Court support services

A network of 15 court assistance services has been funded to provide court-based information and support to people experiencing domestic and family violence who are accessing Magistrates Courts for a protection order under the Domestic and Family Violence Protection Act 1989.

In addition other organisations also provide court support to people experiencing domestic and family violence in Magistrates Courts across Queensland. Please contact your local regional domestic violence service for further details.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Women's Legal Advocacy Service
