Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Program for indigenous young males
We will be holding a five day program targeting young male indigenous violent offenders and High School students, helping them to overcome violence. Youth will be referred from government departments and youth agencies. Teaching sessions will be held targeting areas such as anger management, overcoming generational violence, relaxation techniques, self-esteem exercises etc as well as drama skits with a strong message regarding domestic, family violence and general violence. We also aim to employ positive Indigenous role models as Ambassadors for the program.
