About the month

Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Month is held during May each year to raise community awareness of the social and personal impacts of domestic and family violence, and the support available to those affected by this serious and complex issue.

The Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Awards recognise and promote exceptional work by people and organisations in working towards the prevention of domestic and family violence in Queensland.
