This free forum is designed specifically for women and their families affected by breast cancer, who are living in rural and regional areas. The latest information and advice from health care experts will be provided, as well as the opportunity to connect with women going through a similar experience.
You will hear from breast cancer survivors, BCNA Ambassador and Olympian Raelene Boyle and BCNA CEO Maxine Morand, as well as medical oncologist Dr Catherine Shannon, McGrath breast cancer nurse Sandra Gregg and Psychosocial Cancer Care co-ordinator Dr Carrie Lethborg.
As lunch is provided it is recommended that you secure your place by registering or phoning as per the below contact details.

The Kowanyama community, in the remote gulf area, are holding a street march and a day of activities on Wednesday 13 June, involving the school, football team, police and council workers, parents and general community members, as part of their initiative to reduce the incidence of, and create awareness of, violence in the community.
Following the street march which will begin at the school and proceed down the main street and then to the Multi-Purpose Centre. There will be a sausage sizzle, jumping castle, displays presented by agencies working in the community, such as RAATSIC, FDFS, QHealth, Justice and Kowanyama Council; footy skill drill by the local successful football team.
The evening will be highlighted by local music and dancers, followed by a candlelight service in memory of all people who have been subject to violence and how the community needs to work as one calm mob to continue to reduce the level of violence in the community.
