Who should nominate

The program is tailored for all organisations, from those that are yet to trial any diversity initiatives to those that are leading the way.

We're looking for:

  • organisations that recognise cultural diversity is good business and want guidance on best practice whether they're just starting out or looking for ways to achieve more impact with their existing initiatives
  • cultural diversity leaders that want to share their successes with others
  • organisations that support multiculturalism and the Multicultural Queensland Charter principles.

Your organisation can be a medium enterprise, an international corporation, a member-based community organisation or a non-government organisation.

We want the program to achieve real change so we’re asking you to commit to supporting your Ambassador representative to complete the regular activities and ensure management supports and drives the implementation of any initiatives.

Who should be an Ambassador representative?

A proud supporter of multiculturalism and the Charter principles, the ideal Ambassador representative is an organisational leader with the ability to influence and guide other areas of the business to adopt cultural diversity best practice.

Ambassador representative benefits

This is a fantastic professional development opportunity for Ambassador representatives. Ambassador benefits include the opportunity to:

  • develop key competencies in the increasingly important area of workplace diversity
  • influence change which drives business success
  • build leadership networks within their organisation
  • access to exclusive online content, professional development, training and networking opportunities
  • build their leadership capability by leading their organisation through the implementation of new diversity and inclusion strategies.

The Ambassador representative role may take up to 5 hours per month but support for the program can benefit their career, organisation and help build a harmonious, inclusive and united Queensland.
