Communify Qld's DV community education videos

Posted: Friday 1 July 2016

Communify Qld took up the Not Now, Not Ever challenge by producing  community education videos in 5 languages: Russian, Mandarin (above), Farsi, Bengali and Amharic. Each video (excluding Russian) is produced with English subtitles and the bilingual presenters provide information about what is domestic violence and how to get help. Communify Qld hopes that the videos reduce the stigma surrounding domestic violence in many communities and that anyone from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds who is experiencing domestic violence is encouraged to speak up and seek support.
