Grants

In 2018 Queensland Women’s Week celebrations will be held from 3 to 11 March, and will include a statewide series of events and activities.

We are working with YWCA Queensland to deliver grants for events and activities that inspire women to improve their health and wellbeing, and raise awareness in the community that improving women's wellbeing has benefits for families, children and the wider community.

Applications are now open for grants of up to $3,000.

We encourage organisations to apply for a share of $150,000 to deliver activities and events across the state’s urban, rural, regional and remote communities during Queensland Women’s Week.

Funded events and activities should offer opportunities for Queenslanders of all ages, linguistic and cultural backgrounds to join together in celebration.

Applications close at 5pm on Friday 27 October 2017.

For more information on eligible projects, please read the grant guidelines (PDF, 376 KB) grant guidelines (DOCX, 352 KB) and conditions (PDF, 78 KB) conditions (DOCX, 171 KB).
