Member opportunity – Don River Improvement Trust

The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy, in conjunction with the Don River Improvement Trust, is seeking applications for a member passionate about protecting and improving rivers for the benefit of community members. The member will be required to participate in approximately four trust meetings held in Bowen each year and attend field/site/project inspections as required. The position is for a term of up to four years. Applications close Friday 23 August 2019.

Multiple member opportunities – Whitsunday Rivers Improvement Trust

The Department of Natural Resources, Mines and Energy, in conjunction with the Whitsunday Rivers Improvement Trust, is seeking applications from members of the community for two member positions for a term of up to four years. Members will be required to attend approximately six meetings in Proserpine annually, and will be required to undertake other duties including collaborating with Trust staff, community groups, government and non-government agencies to plan and deliver projects. Applications close Friday 23 August 2019.
