The Queensland Carers Advisory Council helps ensure carers have a voice in government decision-making processes.
The government plays a significant role in developing awareness of carer needs and initiatives, and assisting carers with maintaining a balance between their caring role and other life activities. It is also a responsibility of the community as a whole to support carers.
