Category C – FNQ and NQ monsoon trough flexible funding grants

An initiative jointly funded under the Commonwealth/State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

57 Queensland-based community groups, non-government agencies, industry groups, and local governments delivering 68 projects across 39 disaster-impacted local government areas will share in $4,464,001 under the Far North and North Queensland Flexible Funding Grants – Round One 2019 program. Successful recipients of the one-off grants will run events, deliver projects and purchase equipment to promote longer-term disaster recovery and resilience in the wake of the 2019 monsoon trough.

Funding for the Flexible Funding Grants is available under jointly funded Commonwealth-Queensland Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) through Category C Community Recovery Funds (CRF).

This funding is administered through the Queensland Government. Small Grants of $2,500 to $50,000 and Large Grants of $50,001 to $150,000 have been made available to help Queensland communities prepare for and recover from disasters.
