Category C – Central Queensland bushfires flexible funding grants

Round two

61 Queensland-based community groups, non-government agencies, industry groups, and local governments delivering projects across the Banana, Bundaberg, Central Highlands, Isaac, Gladstone, Livingstone, Mackay and Rockhampton areas will share in $4,098,866 under the Central Queensland Bushfires Flexible Funding Grants – Round Two program. Successful recipients of the one-off grants will run events, deliver projects, and purchase equipment to promote longer-term disaster recovery and resilience in the wake of the 2018 bushfires.

Funding for the Flexible Funding Grants is available under jointly funded Commonwealth-Queensland Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) through Category C Community Recovery Funds (CRF), and is administered through the Queensland Government. These grants have been made available to help Queensland communities prepare for and recover from disasters.

Round one

An initiative jointly funded under the Commonwealth/State Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements.

Seventeen Queensland-based community groups, non-government agencies, industry groups, and local governments delivering projects across the Banana, Bundaberg, Central Highlands, Isaac, Gladstone, Livingstone, Mackay and Rockhampton areas will share in $1,095,000 under the Central Queensland Bushfires Flexible Funding Grants – Round One 2019 program.  Successful recipients of the one-off grants will run events, deliver projects and purchase equipment to promote longer-term disaster recovery and resilience in the wake of the 2018 bushfires.

Funding for the Flexible Funding Grants is available under jointly funded Commonwealth-Queensland Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) through Category C Community Recovery Funds (CRF). This funding is administered through the Queensland Government. Small Grants of $2,500 to $20,000 and Large Grants of $20,000 to $100,000 have been made available to help Queensland communities prepare for and recover from disasters.
