Stakeholder review panel

The stakeholder review panel consisted of representatives from dog training organisations, advocacy organisations, the tourism and accommodation sectors and relevant government agencies. They included:

  • Queensland Advocacy Incorporated
  • Queenslanders with Disability Network
  • Queensland Tourism Industry Council
  • Real Estate Institute of Queensland
  • Residential Tenancies Authority
  • Smart Pups Assistance Dogs for Special Needs Children Inc
  • Specialist Dog Trainer
  • Vision Australia

The panel were asked to identify and prioritise key issues in the administration and operation of the Act, and these formed the basis of key topics for discussion as part of the review.
