Our progress

We are committed to implementing all the recommendations for government in the landmark Not Now, Not Ever report of the Special Taskforce on Domestic and Family Violence in Queensland.

Two years into our journey and we have set the foundations for real and lasting change in our community.

Our actions are underpinned and guided by our Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Strategy 2016–2026 and supporting action plans.

Of the Taskforce’s 121 recommendations for government, we have:

  • commenced 49 recommendations
  • completed 72 recommendations.

We are also liaising with the organisations responsible for implementing the 19 non‑government recommendations.
