Community Services Partnership Forum

The department is committed to enabling great service delivery. As part of this commitment, we have established the Community Services Partnership Forum to make sure we are hearing regularly from members of the community services sector and stakeholders.

The partnership forum provides an opportunity for the sector and stakeholders to work with the department to shape the future of community services in Queensland. The forum’s focus is on services funded under the department’s Community Services stream.

Forum membership comprises a range of peak bodies and other sector stakeholders, including:

  • Mr Paul Stephens, Chief Executive Officer, Health and Community Services Workforce Council (a representative of workforce and training organisations)
  • Mr Brett Johnson, Principal Advisor, Local Government Association of Queensland (a representative of the Local Government Association of Queensland) 
  • Ms Belinda Drew, Chief Executive Officer, Community Services Industry Alliance (a representative of the community services industry)
  • Ms Mara Basanovic, Chief Executive Officer, Volunteering Qld (a representative of volunteer organisations)
  • Mr Mark Henley, Chief Executive Officer, Queensland Council of Social Service (a representative of individuals impacted by poverty and disadvantage) 
  • Dr Ann Ingamells, Chair, Coalition of Community Boards (a representative of community organisations)
  • Ms Natalie Lewis, Chief Executive Officer, Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Child Protection Peak (a representative of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child protection organisations)
  • Ms Linda-Ann Northey, Chair, Ending Violence Against Women Queensland (a representative of domestic violence organisations)
  • Ms Di Mangan, Secretariat, Ending Violence Against Women (a representative of domestic violence organisations)
  • Mr Michael Scott, Executive Director, Queensland Aids Council (a representative of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex Queenslanders)
  • Mr Serge Voloschenko, Chairperson, Ethnic Communities Council of Queensland (a representative of cultural and ethnic organisations) 
  • Mr Mark Tucker-Evans, Chief Executive Officer, Council on the Ageing Queensland (a representative of seniors organisations)
  • Ms Sandy Paton, President, (Capricorn Community Development Association) (a representative of regional community service providers)
  • Ms Tracey Jones, State President, (Queensland Families and Communities Association Inc) (a representative of regional community service providers)


Meetings are held quarterly, with upcoming meetings scheduled for:

  • 9 November 2017
