Grandparents Day

Celebrate Grandparents Day

Grandparents Day is an opportunity for Queenslanders to show appreciation for our grandparents’ love and support.

This year’s theme is ’Staying connected’. The theme highlights that, despite the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the bonds between grandparents and grandchildren continue to flourish as we find new ways to connect.

Although Grandparents Day was officially held in Queensland on Sunday 25 October, the free, downloadable resources available here do not include a date so they can be used for Grandparents Day celebrations throughout the year.
