Seniors savings pop-ups

The Queensland Government is committed to minimising the spread of COVID19. We have decided to postpone the Mackay Savings Pop-up scheduled for 23 and 24 April 2020. We’re disappointed but the health and safety of older Queenslanders comes first.  Find out the latest information about COVID-19.

We will continue to monitor events planned for May 2020 in Gladstone, Rockhampton, Mt Isa and Cairns in line with advice from Queensland’s Chief Medical Officer and update this page.

Concessions are available on a range of government services and utilities including electricity and local council rates, public transport and vehicle registration fees.

Although you're not able to talk face-to-face with a Queensland Government specialist at a pop-up, you can still find out more online about eligibility and how to apply for apply for concessions and rebates to help ease cost-of-living pressures.

If you’d like to speak to a cards and concessions expert you can also call 13 QGOV (13 74 68) during business hours.
